01 · Our story
Asian roots.
Modern restraint.
A dining room built around fire, seasonal produce and the rituals that make a meal memorable.

From market stalls to a quiet room in Kyoto.
Akari House began with a simple idea: preserve the energy of Asian street cooking while giving each ingredient more space. Our kitchen works with charcoal, long-brewed stocks, cured fish, fermented vegetables and precise knife work.
The room is equally important. Warm timber, red lantern tones and low light create a sense of ceremony without formality.

Kitchen philosophy
Fire first.
Season second.
We change the menu often, but the structure stays constant: something raw, something grilled, something brothy, something bright and one final course meant to linger.
