The next point should not inherit the emotion of the last one.

Use a short routine
Turn away, breathe, identify one tactical cue and commit. The routine should be simple enough to survive pressure.
Focus on choices
Confidence is easier to rebuild when attention moves from outcome to controllable decisions.
Keep the idea simple enough to repeat in training, then test it with scoring. Improvement sticks when the drill eventually behaves like a point.
